I was in a shop and saw myself in the mirror! laugh Granted shop lights are different to other lights, but I looked pretty grey! Not the barnet, for that is luxurious and sleek, but skin tone! eek Not really a surprise, getting up in the dark, coming home in the dark. Rained for most of the year

So thinking a few sessions in a tanning salon would help (there's inevitably a couple near me) Not looking for the full orange. Just a bit of a colour. But as a beginner I dont want to get red raw the first time.

My basic understanding is start with 2-3 mins, then a couple days off. Then repeat. Then top it up a few minutes once a week or so. Once we get into the longer days, probably wont bother.

Apparently you need to buy the special goggles from the place as just shutting your eyes isn't enough. Looking to do all over, wink so think a stand up one is the answer.

Tips from the more experienced on here would be appreciated.

Dont use a tanning bed, unless you want skin cancer.

Spray tan or by a bottle of gradual tan and do it at home.

If its just your face I use a company called Horace and they make a healthy glow fluid which just gives a subtle hint of colour.
