Just coming up to my 80th birthday ( must be close to being father of forum ?) and received a nice little missive from DWP .
My pension is to be increased by the wonderful total of 25p per week .
I need help and suggestions on how to spend this grand amount

That's a long game approach, it would take about 6 months to pay for a pint!

it's a difficult question to answer. You may want to take professional advice rather than ask randoms on a forum.

Try looking at it another way, that's 13 quid a year so this time next year you'll be able to buy a gallon of diesel.

Once every 3 months you can buy a quarter of traditional boiled sweets like cola cubes.

Coke & hookers.

It's always coke & hookers on PH.

At 80 however it may need to be Viagra from the GP, borrow a defib, have a bath, ask a grandchild how/where to get coke and then gently enquire if Gladys 2 doors down is still able to entertain gentlemen.

I believe the current view is that Pension = theft anyway so maybe don't tell anyone and quietly stick it under the mattress.

Or just buy some sweets.
