Your Life-Affirming moment today.......

Today we met Moira in a Cafe in Linlithgow. It was busy with all tables taken but we had a free seat at our table and she asked most politely if she might join us to eat her lunch? We of course said 'yes of course'.
I find other people fascinating and like to, if my instincts tell me so, ask how their day is going? is their sandwich good?, what about the weather? etc.
Today, we found out the following from Moira....
She is 87 years old. When I asked how old did she feel she said '20'. Twinkling eyes!!
Her oldest Son is turning 70 next week.
She has 4 Children and 8 Grand-children. 1 Great-grandchild who is 2yo and 'just a button'.
She barely gets a minute between visits from her Family who all are successful in their own ways but always want to come to see her despite the fact they mostly live in the South or abroad. She LOVES it despite the humorous protest that she always has to go to Tesco to stock up again...
When she has time, Moira and her 78yo friend take a trip in Moira's VW Polo and have recently returned from Skye. They go every year and share the driving!
Moira has a dicky heart but says 'it's done me well and probably deserves a rest soon'.
Moira is a Lesson. I absolutely loved Moira.
