Are we taking all our friends and extended family with us?

Money doesn’t stop us moving, the above does.

An ex mentor of mine did this. Sold up here, moved to Toronto, lasted one winter, now in Florida.

I think I’d quite happily move to my parents place on Longboat Key. Maybe I have my holiday blinkers on but the pace of life seems great, beach is wonderful, great golf locally, lovely places to eat, nice walks, I’d be happy just spending our winters there.

No idea how good the schools are or any of the important stuff you don’t need to worry about when you’re on holiday.

Corfu, My current house, Koh Samui, Paris, and St.Anton

Infinite money= elite class travel. Butler, chef, clothes in all houses. Travel with smartphone and bottle of water.

Why would I stay in one place?

If money was truly no object then I'd split my time, but I think the principal residence would probably be on Manhattan.
With an honorary mention for a place in a part of Germany near the Swiss border!

Canada or New Zealand.

But yes... money no object means free to roam in luxury and maybe live on a very big boat.

Same.

I'd have a place in the Yorkshire Dales, a mews house in London, and a place on the French coast somewhere between Nice and Monaco.

Main house in the dolomites for me, with apartments in the historic parts of major cities for the times I need some noise and bustle.

I just love the dolomites and reckon I’d make a decent fist of living there. It’s also stunning to look at with great food, lifestyle and easy to get to the rest of Europe.
