"I thought you said it was a 1.8" hehe

Mrs Tunku on using Apple Mac for the first time.
"how do you get google on this"
I point to google search on toolbar of Firefox.
Mrs. Tunku types in Google, then searches from there. rofl

Ok - How about this one.

Before we moved to Luxembourg, wife was concerned about driving a left hand drive car.

Seizing the initiative I pointed out it was ok, you just had to remember the pedals were round the other way.

'Oh my god how will I get used to that?'

'Simple, I practised by crossing my legs and driving my car like that for a bit, why don't we go to the Tesco's carpark and you can give it ago?'

Managed to keep a straight face for about the first 10 seconds.......

Beat this....

I used to date a girl who lived around 50 miles from me, driving her home one afternoon, we overtook a milk tanker with a picture of a cow on the rear, I duly informed her that they keep cows in the tanker! Her priceless reply??

'Wow, how do you get them in there!?'

I am reminded of the story a PHer once told about his wife who used AskJeeves to find the web address for Google.

Dont forget the classic:
sheep have legs longer on one side than the other, thats so they can walk round mountains. But if you look they can only walk one way otherwise they fall off.

What is it with all these threads? Seems every other thread at the moment follows the pattern of "pick a particular category of people and list stupid things attributed to them". Usually the category chosen is "women", although the threads are getting so frequent now that people are being forced to choose other categories too.

Yeah it's funny posting stupid things other people have done but it's bloody tiresome seeing them always attributed to a particular category of people. EVERYONE does fking stupid things. Is it only a matter of time before we have a "stupid things [insert skin colour here] people do" thread? I hope not. So let's can it with the women threads too.

I don't use Apple Mac - it was for her, so she could use a computer without bothering me. I'm sticking with my self built super duper Windows games machine, SLI, 6000+ et al.

Yes my profile contains links to the Lucy Pinder Television website. Yes she is indeed famous for glamour modelling. That's her job. It's not what she is. If you read the website it might be a bit clearer why I run it and link to it in my profile.

The standard comment smile

I normally don't bother to reply in this manner, normally I either don't post or I take the piss. But there are so flipping many of these threads at the moment, and it is that that I am commenting on rather than this thread in particular. It wasn't aimed at Tunku wink
