Just been to the local pub and - it's gone! All the regulars are standing in a field where it was yesterday looking upwards. Amazing.
Then some bloke said that I can decide what bits of my old pub I would like to see back by filling out a favourites form - sort of what bits I like, avoiding bits didn't like (you know, like the condom machine that kept nicking my pound coins when I had spotted a 16 pint princess, and the wet dog that always shook all over me when he came in and sat stinking in the corner), and inside a couple of minutes, it would be rebuilt - but to my design.
Well, I've done the form and I'm gonna give that a go. Hopefully, I can still eavesdrop on other people's funny conversations if they are in the same bar as me.
Can't find the option to smoke inside and kick the non-smokers outside in the rain though.
