Where do you go if you need to think something through and don't want anyone around? For me it's the top of a local hill that looks out across the Cheshire plains. I've visited it ever since I first learnt to drive.

Well, if our lass and i have had a barny, then i tend to go to the woods near to doncaster race course, wander round for a while, have a smoke and decide what to do next!

Without doubt and if I have enough time, then it's to a great big oak tree deep inside the Ashridge Forrest. I sprinkled my brothers ashes there back in June 2007. It doesn't half help me sit and think things trough. And it's allways nice to go back and visit him.

Thinking in Peace would matter until someone started a thread about the best way to think and an argument ensued.

For me it`s the car - I have a 45 minute commute so gives me lots of time to think. I like to go to bed aswell to think too.

I either take the dogs out for a long walk listening to Queen's Greatest Hits or just get in the car crank the music to my fav musical up and drive.

Just lately it's more walking than driving, have you seen the cost of fuel !? nono

Which is prob why I was pissed off in the first place wink

Ooops forgot to put in locations which was the point of the thread! The local private arburitum for dog walking, beautiful place, round Chobham and on to the Surrey Hills for the car.

I have a spot i always think about but it's 3 1/2 hours away. I'll end up driving there one day though. Sandbanks in Poole, Dorset. I'm not sure what it's like now haven't been for many years, but just love it there. So many sights and just a place i know quite well.

In from Cholmondeley direction and left by the church. Then up to the car park and walk from there.
