2 people make £553, one puts in £150 the other £293 so the latter person placed 1.95 times the amount of the first person, what is the equal split formula to work out what each should get?

Bit brain dead today so thought a quick query on here is best.

150 + 293 = 443

150/443 = 33% (approx)

293/443 = 67% (approx)

so for £150 invested = £553 x 33% = £182.49 dividend

for £293 invested = £553 x 67% = £370.51 dividend

person 1 gets 553 * 150/443
person 2 gets 553 * 293/443
crofty gets a tenner for providing this service.

Doesn't it depend on the sex and relationship status of the parties. If they are married it works like this.

Man 0.5%
Woman 99.5%
