Gay male cleaner at my gym......

In my gym there is a male cleaner always loitering in the changing rooms. He's either polishing each individual locker for 10 mins at a time or he would come and talk to people whilst they were in the shower. I have always had my doubt about his motive however he has been there so long that members just accept it and entertain his conversations whilst they are in the shower. If you were naked and getting dried he would walk up to you and stand about two foot from you and start up a conversation!

I usually have a casual conversation with the receptionist on my way out and I thought I would bring up my concerns in a semi serious way. she remarked that the cleaner always gave her the gossip on what was going on in the changing room and that he could appreciate the male body and winked!

Now to the debate.

1.should a gay male be able to work in a male changing room?

2.Do I raise my concerns with the management at the risk of getting a long serving member fired

My advice would be stand naked in your best Victorian explorer pose (head held high, proud expression on your face, one leg on the wooden bench and hand on hips) and declare loudly that "you'll have no bumming here" - Pith helmet, as always, is of course optional.

I think this is a valid point and indeed a very grey area! a hetero male would not be able to work in a female changing room and neither would a female in a male room! Im sure if it was the other way round females wouldnt apreciate a gay women hanging around perving while they try and change.

In the films in my DVD collection there are usually several lesbians in the female locker room!
