So there's me, and a bunch of other drivers all holding back from entering an otherwise really busy roundabout on the outskirts of Edinburgh because someone's cat has decided to saunter across the road in the way of everyone.

Cue middle aged housewife in her silver 09 reg Corsa who decides she can't wait anymore and *takes aim* at the cat and guns it onto the roundabout.

The cat was about three feet from her front bumper at the time. This woman had been sitting there watching it cross in front of her up until that point.

It's only a cat, but I just haven't seen anything so deliberately heartless for a long time.

The cat managed to get out the way, btw, but it was *very* close.

Where about in Edinburgh?

I can almost guaruntee that the woman had no idea that there was a cat on the road, such is the observation skills of the typical Embra housewife on the way to pick up her spawn from school.

"Edinburgh" really is too vague a location, do you have more precise co-ordinates?

How dumb was the cat to even be in the middle of a busy roundabout?

Exactly, if they're going to do the whole 'look at us dogs, we can go out on our own, no need for leads with a cat' thing, then they need to get streetwise.

Nothing suprises me. I'm sure she had more important things to do than wait for a cat to cross the road!

So much for the fairer sex

Now you see, that would be all funny 'n stuff if it were true.

Unfortunately she is dead. We were playing a little 'game' last year and well things got a little out of hand. Shame really.

Thank God for Vanish, that's all I'm saying.
