Cater Allen, anyone use them

After finally having had enough with Bank of Scotland I'm looking for a new bank. Anyone know what Cater Allen are like now after Abbeys problems and cost cutting? I'd be looking for personal and business accounnts, good internet banking is important as I work away quite a lot. A bank that actually pays interest still on its business accounts would be a novelty too.

They sponsor one of the Contractor websites, guessing quite a few members there too - might be worth a trawl

Been with them a couple of years now and find them very good.

I use them for business banking, all accounts at 0% interest The customer service is good on the phone, the online service is OK but not terribly intuituve. Nowhere near as good as FIrst Direct's for example.

Apparently Scottish Widows have some offers for business banking with interest paid.

They used to be Robert Fleming and I moved to First Direct because of a lack of
(at the time) internet banking and a drop in the quality of service following the
Cater Allen change. You should find some information on the Professional Contractors
