This will be going to feedback surely. Anyway, I think it's great threads are getting placed in the right forums quickly, although it's not exactly difficult to put them in the correct one in the first place

It is getting out of hand.

I was speaking to a friend yesterday that said he's just given up with PH as they keep messing with the threads.

I was hoping that the Lounge might be the same as the old P&P but apparently not.

People liked the P&P so why mess with it in the first place?

Or were the management just getting peeved that it had more posts than General Gassing?

Its all to do with advertising revenue, more forums means more direct and relevant advertising.

Because it was full of utter bks and was presenting an image of PH Haymarket didn't want/thought might be damaging? Maybe HM are trying to "raise the bar" a bit?

To be honest I'm surprised they didn't just close the P&P completely.

Did you see the thread about don't Google Image Search Pistonheads with safesearch off? Personally I thought that was exactly the sort of thing this is about. It does seem that that little problem is now fixed but it surely wasn't a good thing...

Me? I like this new format. I rarely now post anything in "The Lounge" or even read it. If I post in the sub-fora I tend to get more serious answers - less of the OMG LOLZ smash her back doors in with an MX5 remapped like a 335d to nuke it from orbit.
