This weekend I have the dubious honour of turning 30.

I thought a good activity for the Sunday would be to do a pub crawl along the Thames with the Clippers as our mode of transport. Looking to do the route from Embankment down to the O2, and back to Tower to finish off with a Brick Lane cuzza.

Trouble is I'm not that clued up as to which pubs to include in the crawl. Recommendations along with locations would be much appreciated. Looking for about 7 or 8 decent pubs. Cheers beer

greenland pier - go to the wibbley wobbley. it's only 80 yards from the pier. nice to sit on the floating deck out the back on a nice day.

this is probably the least obvious one apart from masthouse pier.

On the Canary Wharf stop you've got City Pride about a 5min walk from the stop, Cat and Canary (Fullers) or the Ledger Building (Wetherspoons)

From Blackfriars pier, Doggets over the bridge if it's raining, Founders arms if sunny.
Or venture 500 yards inland to Fleet Street for the Punch, Bell or Cheshire Cheese. Black friar itself is very close and good.
