Ok, time to tap into the PHers knowledge base

I was in Selfridges the other day and saw these little notepad's. There were only about 2 by 4 inches and were in an array of colours but a simple leather pattern. On each one were embossed silly things.

Now, I wanted to get one of these embossed with a custom message. Does anyone know where I could possibly be able to get something like this?? (i.e. by a package??) Or even better, does anyone on here sell them??

Cheers

Not sure about on leather, but if yu can get a regular stamp made up with the wording you want, and then buy some embossing ink and powder and a craft heat gun, you can do it yourself.

Just use the stamp pad and stamp, like you would a inky pad, then sprinkle the embossing powder over, it will stick to the embossing ink, shake the rest off and then aim the heat gun at it, and it will set and emboss the ink and powder.

But I have only seen it done on card and shrink plastic, so don't know if it will work on leather, I can ask around the craft forums if you like?

The site you linked to does it doesn't it, or are you looking for something else?
http://www.kikijames.com/KJ1076BLKBLM.html I'm not sure if that's the thing you want, but they do personal engraving/embossing

I asked about leather embossing machines in the business forum last week:

Anyone know anything about them?

Smythson (www.smythson.com) do personalised leather embossing, and they've got several styles of notepads etc to choose from.

I was thinking the same thing but it really depends on how much you want to spend. If you saw it in Selfridges you are probably prepared but if you are thinking of spending £10 then bend over and be prepared to take it every which way for a Smythson product - emobossed or not.

Trust me I have a wife and am well versed in Smythson goods
