"In 1970, there were 100,00 Muslims in America, today, there are over nine million..."

A "Gospel" message

What's that got to do with France?

confused

Maybe this is what Nostrodamus was refering to when he was rabbiting on about the Muslim Hoardes coming from the Ottoman empire to settle in Western cities & build their Mosques there, much to his horror.

Just picked one of the many projected statistics our man was talking about; France was the nearest to us.

When you think about it.....he must have had a really depressing life. You know....what with all the predictions of armageddon. My guess is he wasn't the town favourite either, spreading nothing but doom and gloom everywhere!!

Actually, come to think about it....he was as bad as the media are today biggrin

"Islam will overwhelm Christendom unless Christians recognize the demographic realities, begin reproducing again, and share the gospel with Muslims"

So, reproduction is the way to increase a religions prevalence?

Hmm, I was sure they used brainwashing for most of the last 2000 years. scratchchin

The answer to the OP's question is 'no'.

Religion will be almost dead in 40 years time in Europe if it keeps declining. Hopefully anyway.

To answer the OPs question "non" but I reckon Christians will soon spit the dummy as soon as Muslims out number them though.

I was kinda hoping in 39 years religion on the whole might be on the way out. Probably too soon though.

Article in Saturday's Times suggesting the evangelical Christianity is growing strongly in and from the USA. I think those who expect religion to die out are going to be disappointed (sadly).

I think most "anti-religious" types like myself aren't arsed about what people believe but we'd just like to not have to get persecuted for other people's beliefs. Secularism is the only way forward.

With that in mind I think radical groups provide a perfect example of what non-sense it all is and, god willing, will actually fuel the fires of the secular movement by ensuring people question their beliefs. Which is ultimately how atheism begins.

Especially not in france - a bunch of them will have a pissy fit and block all the ports whenever the wine gets corked or whatever.

Old news.

Spain was an Islamic state for around 800 years.

France would have been an Islamic state since the year 732 had it not been for a certain Charles Martel.

We do need to stop all state funding for Faith Schools.

The religious indoctrination of children is every bit as much abuse as mutilating their genitals. It needs stamped out.

I would have thought Britain would be more likely to than France. The Froggies ban all religious signs from schools and are far less likely to capitulate to Political Correctness than our weak kneed government.

Seconded.

Drove by one near York last week that had some nauseating message about "God" plastered across the brand-new and expensive-looking building. My f*cking taxes paid for that f*cking sign, as well as the brainwashing taking place within... mad
