So... What age gap is deemed "acceptable" by the PH massive?

I'd say about 20% or 25%, rather than an absolute number. Bigger age gaps become acceptable as you (both) get older.

Half your own age + 7

Heard that one on the radio, it sounds about right.

God don't ask in here judging by some of the threads people have commented on, particularly the ones where a bloke mid 20s asks if he should ask a 16 year old child out I'd say you may not like the answer.

Ah, right...

So, as you retire at 65 and look at your 85 year old wife, do you anticipate retirement with glee...?

The future's bright, the future's Zimmer...hehe

My ex is in this position...

Which is nice...smile

Really. Who gives a st.

So long as no laws are being broken where people find happiness is none of our business. There's no "acceptable" or "unacceptable" about it. The only unacceptable thing is thinking it's OK to criticise people for enjoying each others company.

I'm not sure I understand. I'm 20. So half my age + 7 = 17. Does that mean I can have a difference of 17 years? You want me to date 3 year olds? That can't be right.

No, it means the "ideal" age for you is 20/2 + 7 = 17.

Although, if you really want to date 3 year olds, don't let us stop you.

Her ideal age wont be the same as his though, so does she have to live knowing she has the non-ideal age..!?

This is a good question. Just lately I seem to be attracting men of a much younger age, generally around 10 yrs my junior.

Does there come a point in a 20 something year old chaps life when they start to find 36yr old women attractrive and fair game wink
