Any decent boozers in Croydon ?

Going to meet a mate of mine later in central Croydon before going to see a 'gig'.

Any decent boozers over there anybody knows ? Use to work over there but it was many years ago so have no idea anymore.

The second person to simply answer 'NO' is just like soooooo boring and so really unfunny.

Your best bet is to find a bar near the gig, it will be full of fans rather than Croydonites.

If you want somewhere more central, try the Green Dragon on the high-street.

the Oval is closer.

Much of Croydon is a hell-hole, so don't, repeat don't, try anywhere in
Central Croydon unless you want to be surrounded by uber-chav's and be
dodging punches all evening.'

The Oval - is that the one under the flyover ? Think thats the one I use to go in after work.
