Let's have a purge on the remuneration and expenses of European Commissioners and MEPs.

Can't remember the detail, but these were mentioned years ago, prompting sharp intakes of breath.

For a taster, somebody claimed a ride-on lawnmower for his fourth floor flat in Brussels.

I'd hazard a little bet the current furore pales into insignificance compared to these rotten gravy trainers.

Neil Kinnock hung out to dry, anybody....?

Well what do you expect?
Posting your political diatribe in "The Lounge".
All the political pundits are in the politics forum.
This is the braindead and not quite as funny as it used to be forum.

Get with the program.

Quite agree.
How many also sign in and sod of (SISO?) claiming their daily allowance.
Isn't the ex Head Accountant running for one of the parties in the Euro Elections after complaining about wastage and corruption and then being sacked?

Much though I think the European Parliament could be best fixed with polonium salt and simultaneous nuclear strikes on both locations, I'd like the papers to finish NuLabia off properly first. There is time enough for the dimmest to forget all this before Winky calls his election.

Over the last few years I have come to realise that the world really IS the corrupt, power mongering, greedy, contemptuous battle that is oft described in Bourne conspiracy type books.

Governments really DO look down on their own peoples as idiots and extendible numbers. They really DO play games with the lives of thousands of soldiers, the way the average person plays an Xbox 360. They spunk huge quantities of money up the wall, playing their subtle games of politics, whist allowing millions to live in poverty and fear. They really do shuffle the annals of power in third world countries, simply to invigorate the economies of their own countries.

In fact I hate governments, as they are all they swore NOT to be when they are trying to buy your vote!
