You couldn't make this up!

Reminds me of the Roxanne movie with Steve Martin

I remember going on holiday to Denmark when I was young and when we were there the firebrigade held a BBQ safety demonstration. Things got a little out of hand and 3 people died including 2 firemen.

Not funny(much), but again, you couldn't make it up.

It still gets used (or did in the late 90s) for target practise by fast jet pilots. I was based there for a couple of months when I did my masters. The harriers used to come over so low and fast that they would rattle the windows in the frames in the halls of residence. The first time I heard this I asleep at the time and thought the there was an earthquake and the building was collapsing. A harrier at tree-top height with the wick turned up makes a terrifying alarm clock.

When I investigated I was told the RAF use the "Sir Henry" ship as a target.
