Yeah he's good. Saw him in Manchester during the Iraq war, and he was giving out the American security chief at RAF Fairford's mobile no. used by plane spotters to report protestors and playing pranks for the whole show. Not particularly funny, i'd say amusing yet shocking (are we really shocked at the government?).

I don't know what it is about him, but I do know that I'd pay good money to see "Alien & Predator vs. Mark Thomas"
Particularly the scene where his gibbering screams - entirely understandable, given that he is being hoist aloft by the Predator who has just impaled his guts with a nasty hook-type thing, probably heated up nicely with a laser - are stifled as his face is wrapped by the Alien spore-squid and the egg-implant stem is rammed down his throat.
The rest of the film is fairly predictable, obviously, and involves all of the best PH stock phrases, but ends with an emotional scene in which the Alien and Predator are given public service awards for disposing of the utterly toxic little gobshyte, after kicking him in the face, with the use of a fusion warhead delivered from orbit.
