I've just had this weird looking thing crawl across my desk at the office.

It's reddy/brown in colour

About 2mm long

8 legs (I think)

2 massive claws about 2mm long

I have it in a sealed tube but I doubt I can photograph it.

More googling now smile

It's a land lobster.

They're not dangerous unless provoked by gradually starving them of oxygen. Then they release a gaseous agent that causes sterility in all mammals.

Only 1 nanogram of this is required to render the testes of the average human male as barren as the surface of Mercury.
