Forget all that religious nonsense, but however you look at it, Jesus was a remarkable success:
Obscure birth, poor family, unknown upbringing, walked around preaching for ONLY ONE YEAR or so, executed, nothing special, but then then: millions and millions of followers, wars, conquests, empires created and destroyed in his name. WTF?
Has anyone else ever been so successfully marketed in such little time?
OK, apart from Jade Goody.

Yep best pound for pound fighter ever - against Frasier he was epic!Sadly Ali is a multimillianaire and Fraiser lives in a sh&t holt in the bronx IIRC still in a grimy boxing club - and he still hates Ali for what he said to him and it was Ali who didnt have the balls to go to Vietnam when he was called up and suddenly "found" a new faith.
To me Ali is always Cassius Clay.

anyway, the whole Che poster thing is better than JC. There's nothing worse than waking up in the morning seeing a poster of JC on your bedroom wall and feeling guilty for the rest of the day because of that ..

"Giuseppe Garibaldi was involved in every major battle in Italy, provoking revolution in Sicily, bringing about the collapse of the Bourbon monarchy, the retreat of the Austrian empire, the overthrow of the Papal States, and the creation of the Italian nation. And he did so with the glamour of a latterday Robin Hood. At one point the Pope put a large bounty on his head, but not one Italian betrayed him"
