How can you walk 100kms in a day?

One team has already finished in 13.26 hrs -
My daughter is in The Rescuers team and started at 7.03 am and still going - just had a call from her brother up there supporting her and apart from a few blisters she going well
Apparently heat has been the biggest problem with some people so no doubt they wiil appreciate the cool night ahead.
