However whilst the perps in the IRA buggered off out of the way before it went bang, the tali's walk into a crowd with one strapped to their chest or drive into a crowd sitting in a bomb...and they don't usually announce anything until it's too late.

One of the IRA's tactics was to telephone an extremely vague coded warning several minutes before the device detonated, putting the emergency services in an impossible quandry and sometimes people fleeing from where they thought the bomb was planted ran straight into it's path.....
