There happens to be a fly flying around in my room and its really starting to bug (har har) me. PH Suggestions please biggrin

I'm thinking can of deodorant and a lighter? Get it when it lands on something. Not sure how happy the landlord would be though.

Wait for fly to land.

Distract fly by waving spare hand to one side. While he's watching that...

Belt fly as hard as possible, bearing in mind they take off backwards.

Pick up dead/dying fly and eject via catflap.

I had a wasps nest in my roof once. I stood there with a badminton racket and practiced for an hour. Must have taken out over 100 of the bds. And I didn't get stung once. Cos I'm a ninja of the night, see.

Thought you were supposed be able to catch them with a finger and thumb with your eyes closed...?

What, make scupture out of drainpipe? I mean, it might intimidate the wee compound eyed fella, but it doesn't strike me as being as effctive as a rolled up autotrader...
