Iv'e never been to london

Shock to some but in my own mind it hasnt been one of those things that i should do immediatly. Ive lived in the midlands all my life, ive past through it i think once but ive never got off had a walk round and seen the sights.

So tell me a really good reason i should go this weekend?

and not just to sit on ph

What they said. Good if you want to get drunk and have a higher than average salary to afford the extortionate prices. Maybe.

If you drive you can look forward to parking fines, bus lane fines, hidden no right turn fines, bloody mad cyclists trying to kill themselves by ignoring red lights, massive bendy busses getting in the way and also random ever changing one way streets that were the other way round last week and will be different by the following tuesday or even closed completely, much like the staircases in hogwarts.

Go by train and you might get there one day but it might be late due to the wrong kind of summer.

Can you tell I love it there ?

London is fantastic for spotting exotic machinery though.

I love living in London, but I always have done and feel lost when i'm away for too long.

I wouldn't worry about visiting, as we've all got places we haven't been to yet.

London can be grotty in central tourist areas, but remember that there's more to the City than the areas most people head straight towards.

Can't think of any. Can think of plenty of better ways to spend the weekend, but there isn't enough storage space on the PH servers to be posting them all.

London is a sthole, and right now it's a sthole with no air in it.

Personal preference I guess, I moved to Manchester in 2001, stayed 2 months and moved back here again as I really didn't like it. London's not for everyone though, it must be said.

The very centre of London is worth visiting at least once for the sights and the buzz. Everything between the Inner Ring and the North/South Circular should be Napalmed.

I did once take a live pigeon out for a motorcycle ride. She was OK hanging on up to about 45mph but the wind got a bit much for her after that.

Personally, I loved my stay in London, and miss living and working there.

It did take quite a bit of adjustment, being from about 250 miles north, used to being by the countryside, needing a car to get about, and hating all forms of public transport, but I soon did and quite go into it. Maybe just because it was something a bit different and a change of scenery.

I've been there loads of times before, and whilst I can see why people would take the opinion of london being a sthole, I think once you take the time to poke about a bit and ignore all the touristy ste, and filthy bits, it's kinda cool

I was born in London and try to avoid it at all costs now. Gotten too used to the rural open spaces of Warwickshire, or Oregon and Nevada. Oh and friendly people that actually you. Even during my last visit to the UK, I managed to avoid it, and I have property there.
If I had to go, I would like to be driving a Volvo tank likes yours to combat the indigenous local creatures....

Hey now, that's a bit OTT. Grew up in Muswell Hill, secondary school in Camden Town - plenty of places worse.
