Slept With The Ex (again)

Feck, Feck, Feck…..have slept with the Ex again, well twice actually.
To set the scene. Seperated 18 months ago and things have been friendly between us since. She only lives a short distance away and we're both happy doing each other the odd favour and having a coffee etc.
Did the whole break up sex thing over the first two or three months, which seems to be quite common, reading other threads on here, but nothing since between us.
So anyway…our boys 5th birthday the other weekend and a trip for all of us was planned to a well known theme park. "We'll share a family room" , her idea not mine.
Fine I think, given the cost, I'll sleep on the pull out bed next to the Wee Man. She can have the main bed.
Come evening time and she says "It's ok if you want to sleep on the main bed beside me"
Well anyway one thing led to another over both nights we were there. When I asked at the time what was going on she just said "having fun"
Thing is I was just beginning to move on . I still find her incredibly sexy and like her company, and in truth still love her to a degree.
Needless to say it's messed with my head a bit as I really did not see this coming !
I e-mailed her the other day just trying to sus whether it was to her just a bit of fun or something more. Not had a reply yet. Was helping in her garden last night but chickened out of raising the topic.
So, do I just leave it and let the matter go or do I chase for an answer and clear the air ?
I really do not want to mess up the friendship side of things

woah! good question!I'm confused with couples splitting up and then having ex-sex with eachother...I've been spearated for 9 months now... I'd rather stick forks in my eyes than poke 'that' agian tbh.
I tried the helpy-helper routine too...to keep the split amicable, to keep access regular with my 7 year old daughter...the offer of friendship gets abused, and the access is 'played with'...and if I ever query her intent, she loses it (confirming I made the right decision, 9 months ago)...
Sounds to me as if she left you? or orchestrated the separation? now she's bored finding out it ain't easy finding another good man who will put up with her or your offspring..?? maybe...
