Canterbury Rugby Shirts

Ok I'm buying some rubgy shirts online & I'm trying to work out what size I need.

I've measured my chest, 41".
Now, according to the website, 41" = large.
However, I already own a Canterbury Wasps shirt which is a Medium, but is too big for me.

So, if I buy the reccomended 'Large', is it actually going to be way too big?

I'd go with medium. I bought a rugby shirt in medium because of their recommended sizes, I ended up having to take it back and get the small because the medium was way too big!!
