Arrived this morning, only had a flick through so far but it looks really spot on, a must purchase for space nerds!

MMmmn, so it'll still be full of out of focus, over contrasted grainy pics of something totally irrelevant with cut'n paste expert advice on how to bondo a rusty cortina wing and how to test a spark plug. Pity Apollo 13 didn't have one, they'd have been sorted

An Apollo 13 edition might be more useful (in retrospect).

I have got the Lancaster one. At first I was a little disappointed that its not a true Haynes but I read it cover to cover and found it to be pretty informative and interesting.

hehe I wonder if they would have included the body repair section with the Red 205 IIRC that is in virtually every post 1988 Haynes Manual.

hehe well it does have a picture of a spark plug in it and there is a section on the replacement of a main wing spar...the memorial flight is the only aircraft to have done it 'cos Avro never expected an aircraft to rack up enough hours to need it done!

Is it just for the Apollo 11 vesions of teh Command/Service/Lunar Modules or does it include the later missions - especially 15, 16 and 17 (they included the Lunar Rover)?

Also, should this not be in the Boats, Planes and Train forum along with the Space Shuttle threads?

I bought one.

Then sold it on with oily fingerprints on a couple of pages.

For double the purchase cost.

It'd be no good for me. It doesn't cover the diesel models! weeping

On me list to get.

"Virtual Apollo" is also worth a buy. By Scott P. Sullivan.

Link

Looks like they do a virtual LM as well.

I'd have thought a man with your obvious knowledge into the whole program would, at least, be able to now accept it was as faked as a womans orgasm.
