Yes you - ranting the dhead in the Mexican bandit restaurant in London yesterday who took offence when I politely told his brat who was running around our table on which was perched two red-hot, furious heavy iron skillets on which our food was SIZZLING to be careful. Look moron, I was only trying to stop the moron-in-waiting from getting concussion and/or three-degree burns following the inevitable collision, tears, and possible injury. Quite frankly it's you who needs to "RELAX!". And control your phecking child.

Lack of scene setting. I dunno, I just didn't feel like I was 'there'.

Cheers.

It could have been good, great infact. Good basis for an epic rant, sadly, no where near enough swearing, i didn't feel the usual PH rage.

I thought this was going to a rant about how people rave that there biggest achievement in life is having and raising a child.

It is as if they think they are in a special minority or something!

Agreed resturant on Haverstock Hill had outside dinning but we moved inside due to the gamer of tag and hopscotch taking place. I never ran about in resturants when I was a child, nor did my brother (3 year junior). If I wanted to run about my dad let me loose at my grandfathers and I was chased by the terrier. The 80's had better kids imo.

for me. Would liek to read more about the incident but the topic is good. At least I find it easy to relate to. Parents behaving in public like they are the only ones capable of spawning a child and therefore should be given a special treatment. Call me old fashioned but when I was growing up, parents (and not just mine) made a point of teaching ME to behave and be aware of the environment around me, rather than assume the environment will adapt to me running amok without a car in the world.

There are only chain joints on Haverstock Hill. It's hardly serious dining, so who gives a stuff?

too right -

i'd be glued to the seat on pain of a thick ear if i were to 'play up'

was in Halfords t'other day buying some bike bits - multiple little scrotes riding round and round the fking showroom on bikes whilst there parents were otherwise engaged...

had to hold off the temptation to deliver a quick kneestrike to the head as one of the little fkers nearly collided with me for the third time....
furious

Just because you eat in a chain doesn't mean you want little Jonnie storming around the place causing havoc.

I'd still want to enjoy my food.

Another one is new parents with first child telling me all about how this and that occurs and how you need to do this or hold that.

I have probably helped more than 20kids grow up in my life as we ran daycare yet these new parents feel the need to explain to me how parenting works.

fk off.

No doubt those kids will be soon dealing drugs & robbing granny's.
