In the light of the tube strikes today and tomorrow I cannot use my usual travel method of train into Kings Cross and then tube to Wembley, so I will have to drive my mate and myself down from Cambridge. Do any PHers from London or also travelling by car have any advice about where to park and how to get to the stadium, or should I just get a refund on the ticket and not bother?

PS mods, please dont move this to sport or travel, i wont get a reply before tomorrow!

Try driving to Ealing Broadway (lots of places to park, Multi Story etc) then there are busses that run to Wembely, can't remember which ones though, but from Ealing you're about 25 - 30 mins away subject to traffic.

Hope this helps,

What News? They are saying the game is not affected but there is no Tube tomorrow at all as it stands now.

i live about 3 miles from wembley. My advice would be to drive in earlier and then park up in an asda car park which is a 10-15 minute walk from the stadium. There is a multi storey car park in harrow on the hill town centre which about 15 minutes away from wembley by bus. the other option is to park in 'park royal' near hangar lane station. you can catch a bus from there that runs to brent cross which passes through wembley.

hope it helps

Stick "artesian close" into sat nav, and walk from there.
For some reason, it never had football fans parking there?

I'm not sure who said the tube lines were unaffected but they definitely are:

I read tonight they were considering cancelling the tickets and playing in an empty stadium.
