There aren't any ER postboxes in the Irish Republic. However, there certainly were plenty of GR ones (and even some VR ones). All they did after 1921 was repaint them green.Boxes delivered to Ireland after 1921 had a blank disc where the royal crest would have gone.

It should just change - I hate the national anthem, absolutely nothing national about it.
It should be "Land of Hope and Glory" at least it means something, not about saving some friggin Foreigner who does nothing, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for the country.

Admittedly, it loses something in the translation, but it's far more rousing then "God save the Queen" - listen to both at the beginning of a Rugby match and tell me which raises the spirits the most.Form your battalions,
