fking typical.
due to lack of use my bike's battery is as flat as a squished turd.

To charge it up means standing the bike outside and connecting up my trusty charger. I had a look at the BBC weather forecast online to see if rain was likely. No rain predicted so out came bike, charger and all.
A quarter on an hour later it's pissing down. bds. curse

How dare they make general predictions and get the weather in your immediate vicinity incorrect. Shockingly inconsiderate.

And this is suprising?. Unless you have just come to this country or been living in a cave weather predictions are rubbish. Everyone knows this. Very poor rant.

I think most of the problem in the forcasts is that they say them with the sound of abosolute certainty in their voice.
Giving the impression that what they say is exactly what is going to happen.

And I think they need some better IT people to program the computers.

Hell, my weather forecast was severe warnings of thunder hail and cats and dogs, yet it's nice and sunny out... I'm glad I rushed about and got the dogs out this morning before it peed down.......

Are you in the Northwest?

we've just been having the same discussion in the office. It was meant to rain yesterday; instead we have rock splitting sunshine. Again, today's forecast was rain, thunder and generally st, however, our office is currently at 25 degrees.

I have no problem with them getting wrong this way round. It's when it's the way the OP described that it gets annoying.

My bit of the northwest (Whitehaven), 17c, and showers, pretty much as predicted.

This lets you see what is actually happening...

No Suffolk. And the "local" weather forecast has just been on, you guessed it, Thundery showers with 1-2" of rain tonight..... We will see.....

not suprising to me I know they are fking rubish. However my partner religiously watches them no matter how many times they are wrong.

whats that noise outside is it thunder? nope not a thing all day. This morning they said thunder storms so she left looking like she was going on an expedition to the arctic. I went out in a shirt.

Agreed. Walked to work, umbrella in hand for the rain that was apparently due at 10am and last all day. Its been so warm outside, around 20's, and no sign of rain yet....
