What do HMCS do?

Just had a couple of guys call at a house accross the road, both wearing stab vests emblazened with HMCS on the back, looked like bailiffs or soemthing

ETA: Google says Her Majestys Court Service.

You are correct - they will be bailiffs working on behalf of the Court.

When I've had to use bailiffs in my line of work they have some kind of armband or something with HMCS on it. I'm not suprised that they now have stab vests instead as I've heard some pretty horrific stories before.

Hmmm wonder what they've been up to then. As far as i know its rented accomodation. Seem like a nice couple.

They do have quite a nice 320 touring though. Maybe i could help their financial woes with a cheeky bid. hehe

I would add that just because bailiffs are knocking on the door it doesn't necessarily mean that they are the ones who owe the debt. Especially if it is rented accomodation, you'll probably find they are chasing someone who's lived there before.

It could merely be for driving offences? I doubt they're hardened crims wink
