Seen it in films. Guys here in the office keep saying it. SWMBO says it. I half expect my little 'uns first words to be it.

Why the fk do people say in a conversation (invariably starting a sentence) "Yes .... no"? Are they undecided on what they're saying? Are they stupid? Do they not know the english language?

Its really starting to wind me up.
