Define "last"?

12 months, 5 years?

If a first relationship lasts for 12 months then in my opinion thats a good un, if it lasts five years then good for you. My neighbours are about 21 and have been together since they were 14 but they argue like two badgers in a tree stump is that good? I dont know. laugh

If you are with a first OH for a long time, 5+ years, then one of you will get that "I wonder if" syndrome. scratchchinsperm

But then again, my longest relationship was 2 years so what do I know.

ETA Cheers,

The Moose.

I know of 4 couples who were lurvers from school - 3 made it to about 15 years and the other is still going but....I suspect in this day and age of short attention span and instant gratification, you won't find many like this anymore.

This is so what i worry about, i think that with all the pressure of moving away to uni and just the general lifestyle today, can there really be such a thing as staying with your first partner?

If one or both of you is going to University, I give it about this much chance of no messing about or lasting... ><

Sorry Melissa. On the upside, if you like fattish, fortyish blokes you have landed in the right place biggrin

Ladies and Gentlemen, the PH "profile" server is currently experiencing a high load, and may at times be slow.

not worked for me, but a couple of friends got together at school and they're married with kids and just hit 40, so it can happen.

Good luck if its meant to happen it will, but you'll have to work at it.

Isn't it past your bedtime?
