Italian speakers!

Right, I was talking to someone I know and inadvertently said "capella" which apparently means something rude. Can anyone elaborate? All I know is it's probably below the waist, not sure what gender. I have no idea how rude it is (C-word or ladygarden) or what it actually is. They refused to tell me now I'm all wound up!

There may be a second P. Though that spelling is close to capello (one hair) and capelli (Hair) so I guess it's something to do with femimine hair??

My Italian is limited, but capelli (the masculine plural of capello) is hair. I'm assuming capella is one hair from a woman's head.

Cappella is a chapel, which I'd hardly call rude.

They are nice Italian speakers. Although they would be covered in chocolate and milk as my 2 year old has demostrated on the current set of speakers.
