I can't work out if

a) it's "real" and thus how they've done the claws

He was definitely doing a bit of preparation when he put his hands under the table before, very very impressive if it was some kind of mechanic.

The actual blades look fake, more pixelated than the rest of the image and for some reason they dont seem the right colour, but they look like they are coming from between his fingers rather than his knuckles as in the film, so as above he may have been placing something in his hands under the table and they shoot out in the gaps between each finger.
