It certainly isn't the latter - that has one big f*ck-off dish, not a pole with a load of little ones.

I suppose it depends how close your friend needs to get to the location. I'm guessing that such places would be "well looked after" by big chaps in uniform armed with pointy sticks.

Pretty good - thanks. He's willing to travel, it will be for an advertising job with a budget for location, so permissions will be sought from the site owners. Keep them coming.....

Where are you? There's a place on Box Hill which looks similar (part of something or other for Gatwick Airport). I'll go out and snap it for you.

as close to C. London as possible, so Box Hill would be splendid. I'm only doing this as a bet ( "I can find this location before anybody else" ) so don't go to any trouble on my behalf. If it is on your doorstep however.....

Cheers.

Apparently that image was taken from a mountain overlooking Reykjavik. So, if his travel budget would stretch, Iceland is lovely at this time of year...

There's a place up near Mortimers Cross (nr Leominster, Hereford) if that helps. Can't find it on google but drive past it when we visit my grandparents.

I've been to a place in Brunley with a setup very similar to that. On the top of an incrdibly steep hill on the far north of the town if memory serves me correctly.
