Just interested in what you guys out there are paying for Plumbers and Electricians hourly and day rates ?

Depends on location.

In Staffs about £120 a day

Our's are catering eqaipment installers mind, electrical, corgi, water etc compitent

We charge £350 + Vat / day for a plumber.

Electrician £250 day (10 hours @ £25 per hour)

Local plumber (surrey) £65 an hour .. not sure of day rate.

Normally pay £35 an hour for commerical electricians fiddling with 3-phase and other stuff I dont understand, can quite easily get less but I trust these chaps so we carry on using them. Add to that they dont get the hump when I ask them to run a comms or AV cable or do other odd-jobs they have the tools for.
