Ok,

Now you sometimes hear of millionaire Pop/movie stars etc, flying their personal hairdresser in 3,000 miles for a 20 minute trim at a cost of £££££££'s, but how far would YOU be prepared to travel to visit your favourite crimper?

Mrs WR does mine for free at home,...... but she says she doesn't mind because what took her half an hour twenty five years ago now takes about five minutes....hehe......

I doubt I'd leave my postcode.
You'd struggle to find a barbers that's so bad they could do damage

£10, cut and blow dry at a wee 'blue rinse' establishment 10 minutes walk from where I work.

Really friendly staff, a decent cut, and none of the try to sell you products you really don't want or need.

This reminds me, I really should make an appointment soon

I generally use the hair dressers down the road from me, if i'm away and want my hair done I find a decent looking place to get it done smile

I travel from the front room to the bathroom, pick up my clippers and, ten minutes later, job done.

To London from Norfolk, so 200 miles? All the places in the backwater I'm living in are crap, as are the places in Norwich. Country bumpkins the lot of them, so I go to London.

I agree with this, however there is a place in *shudder* Lowestoft called Geezers, which I'd highly recommend. Ive been going for years now and tried places all over when have been away for work or uni reasons and nothing has matched it.

Proper laid back place, can have a laugh and get a good cut. If want the address or rough directions PM me.

I do it myself every other week with a trimmer at home. Its free, takes me 5-10 mins at most and is utterly convenient.

My hair dressers is only a 2 minute walk from my house, and they do a better job than Toni & Guy who are both a) further away and b) 5 times as expensive!

If I could find a traditional gentlemans barbers that will do me a cut and straight shave with lashings of hot towels I'd be willing to go up to 20 miles (each way)

I wouldn't pay more than about £20 for myself. Although for past couple of years a £7 trim has worked fine..

In terms of distance, not more than a couple of miles.

Too far in short. Umm, I drive about 30 mins to winchester Tony & Guy, and part with an overly sizeable chunk of money, yet get incredibly cute women rushing round the place catering to most needs.

I only have a haircut or shave when I'm going to a funeral/wedding/whatever in which case I will go pretty much anywhere.

Mine too, and we spend most of the time while he's cutting my hair talking about bikes and cars.
