What are the best jobs in the world at this time of year when the temperature is hot hot hot and the sun is shining.

Me: Id say supermarket frozen food merchandiser. Lots of ice creams and a chill out room to hid in when the going gets tough and the stock of ice cubes runs out.

Any other job other then being stuck in a office until 5, just to join the rat race home in this raging heat!

A professional angler would be a nice summer job smile

Is it mine?

Get in a hot car at 8:00 am, crawl 7 miles to work which takes about 40 mins.

Get to work, go to my desk, sweat in the un-a/c'd office building which is made mostly of glass due to being a showroom.. And here is the good bit, when a happy buyer comes in, guess what, they want me to open and sit-in/drive cars that have 90% black interiors around..? Oh did I mention I won't be back until 6?

Obviously my entry is fairly low on the best summer jobs thread, so I think the best job would be..Retired with a boat biggrin

I'll tell you what isn't; delivering flat-pack kitchens to third-floor flats with no lift.

Sweaty.

Depends where you are, I worked at a Leisure Centre during winters, and then open air in summer - plenty of fitties about.

Used to take a cool box, and have a picnic all day long.

I will be ridiculed for this but Tesco. I work 5 days a week (sometimes less, sometimes more) and on all but one days I am finished before half 12.

It's st, and so is the pay, but for making the most of the weather its absolutely perfect

Just got back from seeing my mate who owns a bar on the beachfront at Villefranche in France.
gets up at midday, oggles the ladies on the beach and then drinks with them all night in his own bar.

Not a bad life ...

I'd second the golf course.

I used to work them in Aberdeen and loved it.
