Probably a really dumb question but in this silly hot weather we are currently experiancing I need a fan in each of my toddlers rooms (age 2 and 3) But I worry that during the night they are going to burst into flames and cause a fire.

Is there any danger in leaving them on so long?

Sort of depends on the fan.

At home we got a great deal on Westinghouse ceiling fans a few years back, so each room has one. They'll run 24/7 no problems at all. £2.99 desk fans? Wouldn't be so sure, the last time the PAT testers were in at work they condemned a good percentage of the elcheapo ones in the building.

Spontaneuous human combustion is very rare.

I think the fans will be safe from harm.
