HELP NEEDED! Anyone near Luton???

Rach* has just posted on facebook to say her fanbelt has snapped near Luton. She's got a new one on but can't tighten it up. Can anyone be a knight in shining armour and go and help her?

How do you get a new one on, and can't tighten it up ?

Tightening it up is usually the most difficult part of the whole operation, unless you have one of those VW installations with the ace rack and pinion doobrie on the alternator mount.
