..having a movie on DVD, never really watching it, (even if you have owned it for years), but the same movie appears on TV and you suggest "ooohh this is good this, I have the DVD, gonna' have to watch it" and any adverts that may accompany it..

Anyone else? Any other stwange fernominoms?

yeah we are bad for this in our house - in the past I've been known to watch a film on a poor reception ITV (so with adverts) when the DVD for the same film sat on the stand below the TV! Incidents like this led to "The Rules"

You can only watch a film you have on DVD if either

1. It starts after 10pm
2. The DVD isn't in the house for whatever reason
