How is it that they only work their way in and not out?

Today as work ( doing various cutting , filing of steel etc) i managed to just put my hand on the edge of a bench and hey presto a hand full of splinters!

So managing to do that in the morning i then set about picking up a bit of wood and getting wood splinters in there aswell.
So after about 30min of pricking my hand with a needle and about 10 sharp little barstewards later ive now still got a really sore hand :/

Then again cant be quite as bad as graphite though can it? it goes in and never comes out , never to be seen again!

Rant over

mag sulph from the chemist. put a little on the splinter entry point, put a dressing over it and leave it overnight . should draw the splinter out.

Blimey, you sound like the apprentice at our place!

Your name's not Conor is it? hehe

Soak your hands in hot water and disinfectant for over 5 minutes, this will get them to the surface.
