Really are there any?

I will have a few hours to kill before the concert starts and it appears that i may be getting to the stadium sooner than i would prefer (coach travel)

Used to live there...

There's one to the South West (Greyhound?) and then there's the High St.

Nothing near Wembley Park tube.

The people i am going with seem to think getting a coach to wembley and home again is better then getting a train to city centre having a few beers near Leciester square, tube to concert and then a lift straight home.

I DONT want to get dropped off to Wembley at 5pm and then hang around for three hours with nothing to do

Lemmonie, why slum it in the (very) crap pubs around there (I work in the area).

Despite the prices, I would head for here: http://www.hilton.co.uk:80/HiWayWeb/appmanager/por...

and enjoy drinking in a far better place only 2 minutes walk from the venuesmile

When I went to the England v USA friendly last year my bro and I had a pint in a pub about 2 mins from Wembley Park, place called The Parish on Wembley Park Drive. Wasn't anything special, but it sold beer.

If you come down Wembley Way, instead of walking up the ramp when you are approaching the stadium istelf, walk to the left and under/to the side of the ramp, and turn left in front of the car parks. About 50 yards away on your left is a new-style Indian restaurant (The 'Spice something or other'). Thay have a bar there at which you can always get a drink, they have flat screens showing sport, and of course you can order some of the food should the fancy take you.

May not be up your street if you like spit and sawdust, but we use it a lot for pre-concert and pre-match drinks. Only 30 secs from the stadium.

They are all rubbish.
You are better off going to Harrow on the Hill an getting the train or a cab to Wembley Park (30 mins).
