Almost sounds too good to be true! Right down my street this one.

Has anyone here done this? Or can I get reviews somewhere?

Yes I went last year as part of a stag do. Its good fun, each of you getting a go driving the tank, aiming the gun and actually firing it.
The routes and battles are obviously (if not somewhat annoyingly) staged, you can't just take off in Rambo'esq killing spree

Good fun though - recommend it ! smile

At one of the Midlands PH meets we were discussing lottery wins and one of the suggestions for wasting heaps o'cash was the uber paintball game with M1 Abrams, Harrier, Apachie and the Eurofighter.

I didn't know they actually did it! yikeswoohoo

Replace the Abrams with a Challenger and I've worked on all of them and driven 2, flown in one and played on the RAF training simulator on another. I reckon the Apache is the nastiest (mmmm 30mm chain gun with DU rounds) and the Harrier the most fun.

so, anyone up for a Pistonheads tankballing event?

Could be a good: 2 teams, FWD v RWD owners to finally answer which is better.

Are you allowed to construct paint IEDs?

Seems a bit tasteless to play at soldiers in tanks these days.

Apols for oversensitivity - just read the 'roll of honour' from Afghanistan
