More reason for people to not bother socialise.

"Dave has just taken the biggest dump in the world, ships beware"

Cheers Dave.

Why can't people meet up, do something fun and actually talk to each other. I don't care about the massive st!

edit: When I meet with mates, we don't talk about sts.

Apparently I am supposed to submit 'what I am doing right now' then find some other people and see what they are doing.

As if anyone gives a st.

Yes. Not just Facebook status updates, but an open network that allows you to find out all sorts of stuff.
I use it mainly for work - it's very cool for breaking news, multiple angles of opinion on a particular topic, etc etc.

This is different, I am technically socialising, discussing and having a laugh at Flashmans other peoples expense. But twitter, as I see it, is a "output", who really sits and reads what other things people are doing.

Facebook is only marginally OK, as you can share photos with people.

I should add that there's a wealth of rubbish on there, but if you follow the right people it can be very useful.

Presumably you can follow the antics of your favourite air-head celebrity on this weird medium?

I use it for work, surprisingly informative.

Still undecided whether it is worth it though...
