Wasp nest control, Croydon

I've got a nest in the attic and want to get it sprayed as we've got a fair bit of wiring to do up there. It's unboarded, so I don't fancy having a go myself!

Does anyone know of a cheap service in Croydon?

Thanks - I tried them this morning and they pointed me to a contractor who quoted £52. It seems a lot for womone to spray the nest which would be done within 30 mins and an hour including their driving.

Anyone know of a cheap service/person in Croydon?

I do believe the only way is to burn Croydon to the ground, start with the fire enginees so the fire cant be put out, and the Croydon will disapear off the map and take your wasps out aswell for you

Look, its a job you can't do yourself. Its about the same as the call out fee for a plumber or an electrician. That £52 has to cover all the costs, its not as if there's a bloke pocketing that amount on the hour, every hour.

Just how cheap are you expecting it to be?

Yes. That was why I paid £75 to get the buggers executed.

Seriously - I paid extra to get the guy to come round within the hour. I needed to use the garage that evening (and it was already after 4 pm when I found the nest...) and I couldn't wait for days for somebody to come round and do the job. No complaints though, the guy did a good job. And the floor of my garage is covered now in a little heap of bodies, which is peculiarly gratifying.

Ummm, phoned a couple of other companies and found one for £40, so will go with that. I was sort of hoping that soemone here would work for a firm and fancy a £20 cash in hand for stopping by on their way home :-)

I had a wasps nest in the shed a few weeks back, got a tin of fly and wasp killer from b&q, emptied it into the shed and no more waspies. Have't got round to getting rid of the nest yet though there's definately no more wasps in there. Happy days
